Operations Team Lead - Southside District
Tracy is the Operations Team Lead for Southside District which is a Birmingham Improvement District in Birmingham (BID). The district is made up of China Town and the Gay Village area as well as a Night Time Economy area including hotels, theatres, nightclubs, pubs and bars.
Tracy carries out daytime patrols as they have Street Wardens on patrol during the Night Time Economy hours, in and around the Southside Business District in Birmingham. Their aim is to keep anyone safe from harm by providing help and support to individuals who may be in a state of distress or in a difficult situation.
Tracy would describe herself as very passionate about the Ask for Angela scheme and she has been instrumental in encouraging their Night Time Economy businesses within the Southside District to ensure Management Employees and Door Supervisors / Security Staff are aware of the scheme.
As well as being First Aid trained, Tracy is Catastrophic Bleed trained by the Daniel Baird foundation. She is also trained in safeguarding and Domestic Violence Awareness WAITS (Women Acting in Today’s Society).
