What is the Pledge?
The Official Ask for Angela Pledge is a simple, formal way for businesses to show their commitment to operating the Ask for Angela scheme responsibly and consistently.

Signing the pledge confirms that your venue actively operates Ask for Angela and is committed to maintaining the scheme so that anyone needing support gets the help they need.
It’s free to sign. Once complete, you’ll receive:
A certificate to display in your venue,
Access to downloadable assets to help you promote the scheme clearly,
Updates and practical guidance to help you keep Ask for Angela live in your venue,
A free listing on the Ask for Angela website, showing the public that your venue is signed up to Ask for Angela.
Pledge Commitments
To help ensure Ask for Angela works as intended, we ask venues to confirm the following:
Our staff understand Ask for Angela and feel confident responding appropriately
Ask for Angela guidance/training is included in staff onboarding
We provide refresher guidance at least every six months
We display Ask for Angela materials where customers can see them, and where staff can reference them
We record relevant incidents/requests where appropriate to support staff learning and good practice
A named manager/lead is responsible for keeping Ask for Angela active in the venue
