Cleveland Vulnerability Training
Our Director, Iwona Kossek, has been delivering National Ask for Angela Vulnerability Training in Cleveland, equipping participants with the practical knowledge and confidence to recognise when someone may need assistance and respond appropriately.
The course explores a range of topics that help organisations create safer socialising environments, including the prevention of sexual harassment, bystander intervention, understanding vulnerability, supporting individuals in need and implementing the Ask for Angela scheme within your venue or organisation. Together, these modules provide a practical framework for recognising the signs that someone may require help and knowing how to respond with care and confidence.
Whether working in hospitality, leisure, retail or another public-facing setting, these skills play an important role in helping staff feel prepared to respond to a variety of situations and contribute to safer socialising spaces for everyone.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the sessions and for your enthusiasm and engagement throughout. Your commitment to learning and strengthening safeguarding practices helps ensure more people can access the help they need when they need it most.
