Vicky Ilankovan is the Executive Director of Equal Measures UK – the multi-award-winning non-profit driving intersectional Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in the drinks and hospitality industries. She is also an award-winning journalist and a seasoned drinks industry judge.
An industry stalwart with nearly two decades of experience, Vicky has a holistic approach with a proven track record of promoting drinks brands & companies, developing and restructuring systems, diversifying services, and building strong communities.
Vicky has a deep and abiding love for the drinks industry and promoting the excellence within it, be that people, products, organisations or venues. Her innate drive for and dedication to equity for all has resulted in Equal Measures winning Fortnum & Mason’s Impact Award 2025, UnderOne’s DEI Innovation Award 2024 and The Spirits Business Ethical Award 2024.
Vicky was named as a Change Advocate in CODE Hospitality’s Women of the Year List 2024, and featured on Foundervine’s “Future 40” list 2024, alongside being Highly Commended in Master of Malt’s Clubman Trophy 2024. She also sits on the Tales of the Cocktail Education Committee, Women’s Night Safety Charter Gender & Diversity Group, and Drinks United’s Advisory Board, as well as being a d&i Leader, Ask for Angela Ambassador, and a Wellbeing Champion.
