Duncan King
Head of Festivals and Partnerships, Skiddle
Duncan King is a seasoned music executive with over 20 years of experience at the forefront of the electronic music and live events industries. He has managed record labels for industry giants such as Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, and Swedish House Mafia, launched Las Vegas' first underground label, and played a key role in managing artists such as Camelphat and DJ Fresh. Currently, he leads the festival and partnership team at Skiddle, the UK’s largest independent ticketing platform, where he oversees major partnerships and festival initiatives.
In his role at Skiddle, Duncan bridges the worlds of festivals and partnerships, spearheading collaborations with organisations like Music Minds Matter, LIVE, Spotify, and more, alongside signing some of the UK’s most successful independent festivals and promoters.
Beyond Skiddle, Duncan serves as an executive board member at AFEM (Association for Electronic Music) and an advisory board member at the NTIA (Night Time Industries Association). He manages the independent electronic music duo, My Friend and BUDD. He is also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of industry talent through his work with final-year students at ELAM (East London Academy of Music).
