Ami is the Regional Student support manager at Unite students looking after the London Division. Her role is the ensure safety, wellbeing and support for all students staying in any Unite Students in London and wider when needed. She has rolled out the Ask for Angela initiative across 3 key cities in the UK: London, Birmingham and Manchester with the backing of her team. This has made Unite students the first purpose built organisation to partner with Ask for Angela and have this within their buildings. She has further plans to have Ask for Angela across the whole Unite students property portfolio in the Unite Kingdom.
Ami Partners with multiple universities across London and has been ensuring Ask for Angela is something they know about and consider using in their institutions. Her background is heavily around advocating for young peoples mental health and rights, working in clinical, community and educational settings with an MSc Psychology research background. She has over nine years professional experience delivering wellbeing support in the management and leadership roles across multiple sectors.
